CAT : COMPLETELY ASHED THUD

I know this is too late to write this blog. But seeing that CAT is chasing the same mouse again I doubt that endeavor of students is going to end anytime soon. I can’t understand what is in their mind. Instead of improving the system they are just mending to last year ways.

At least they have a wise guy that suggested them to reduce the no. of centers which has abruptly increased the no. of days exam is going to be conducted. Just imagine the plight of students who is going to suffer a mental torture of selecting infinite date, Making all permutations and combinations and even after taking exam successfully, wondering whether the date was wrong. Someone will come and say aptitude was easy and other day English was easy and someone was able to score good in LR and DI. But why CAT committee will bother. They are getting their fees. And at Present there is no competition to stop them.

Elaborating more on my dilemma last year was a simple but painful one. Having quants as my best subject (99% in earlier cat’s, SNAP, XAT, FMS and IRMA) I was reduced to mere 84% in this cat. Reason was amazing normalization process which judged my, that day quant to be easy. I was wondering I would have solved same no. of questions if paper would have been tough. And if they had founded my, that day quant to be tough I would have scored 97% around with same score. And my overall percentile would have shot from 96% to 99% around. But wow. it had to happen this way. And I am wondering is CAT being “Luck by chance” now.

SACH KA SAMANA

After debacle of BJP in recent election I was heartbroken. I can't understand people's foolishness to grab truth and stick to it. Moreover I can’t understand the insincerity of the educated class, in voting. Aren’t we the most updated and saner class to vote? Aren’t we supposed to understand and differentiate worse from bad and good from best? But forget it, we are the bunch of those hypocrites, who sit behind closed doors and shout that we are jailed. We are a joker in arena who cries over spilled milk, but never bothers to bell the cat. Forget belling the cat, we are debauched, weak and blind enough to even look for a predator prowling toward our well possessed possession. So the verdict, we are a self destructing country. We don’t bother about surrounding. We are blindfolded by ignorance.

Well no point in talking over this again and again. Hope sanity rises among the common people and we can face the truth. Parliament is going gaga over a serial “SACH KA SAMANA”. The country is in full high alert over a potential sabotage on Indian culture. All the M.P’s wants to prove that they are the true bearer of Indian culture. All the viewer (above 18) and participants are stupid enough to be a part of show. I can’t understand the audacity of these politicians to overlook pressing matter at hand.

Terrorism, flood, draught, global warming, china, global meltdown of economy, corruption, felony, impeachment of judges and a near to dead judiciary system are insignificant before a threat of a serial. I can’t understand why we are being so blinded, close minded to embrace the truth.

In an era of moral disintegration, shouldn’t we come out of taboo feelings? Shouldn’t we break age old molded predicament of culture should embrace the truth. Instead of shying away from truth we should face and discuss the merit of challenges. Isn’t a pre marital and post marital affair a part of Indian culture? Our better half has a right to know our truth. Whole world should learn from our mistake if needed to. The fact of life is that when we are ashamed enough to accept ourselves before millions of viewer then there is something wrong with the way we have been till now. We should accept our mistake, learn from it and make other potential’s to think before they are indulged in heinous acts. I think “SACH KA SAMANA” will promote this. While having snacks at table we will have time to introspect our self. We will be more forgiving and more patient. We will be more understanding and our view on present cultural challenges will widen. I think, we should understand and accept the truth rather than hiding out. Let’s fight the demon rather than closing our eye.

The other burning issues in last few months has been scrapping away of tenth board, recent defense report, joint indo-pak statement and worst of all the new gay law. I will be back on these soon.

INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT: WILL IT WORK

Well most of us wont be knowing that such a court exists. Established in 1998 and enforced in 2002, this court has been working toward tackling the crimes against humanity. The court came into limelight on march 4, 2009 after issuing arrest warrant against Sudanese president Omar-al-bashir. The charges are of war crimes and crimes against humanity. This has lead to new discussion in world order. Some are crying for the penetration in their sovereignity and some claiming it to be justice. Amidst all these issues, One may wonder, How significat ICC is?

One may wonder, is it mandatory for justice to be served? Few can claim it to be emotionally satisfying and nailing the culprit to be a discouraging factor for more crimes. While well known scholar Mr. Ramesh thakur claims justice to be backward looking, finger pointing and retributive. Like gandhi he is a follower of peace which is foreward looking, problem solving and integrative.

In present scenario every crusade for providing justice meets so many roadblocks. It wont be inappropriate to doubt the feasiblity of justice in case of genocide and war crimes. The charges of being racist on ICC cant also be shrugged off. Ofcource main problem is whether the countries wants to accept it or not. If u deliver justice, we wont ever know had it rightly been served. If it is not, then is ICC credible enough.

Countries like U.S.A and china or not a part of it. Every when is asking why ICC closed it's eyes during IRAQ war. World is watching whether ICC can frame and indict sudanese governement or not. Even if The president is brought to law, will he be penalised ever.

However, no one can doubt that it is a long awaited step toward being human. Framing such a law is only a major step. However, U.S.A will have to join it and china will have to open his eyes for it to work. And ICC itself will have to be impartial. Everyone is doubting it to be free from world politics.

Let's see what holds in future.

ONSET OF INEVITABLE

Life is a strange turnaround of events. It's a fairy wheel that always brings u back to square 1. You harvest what u sow. Series of terrorist attack in PAKISTAN , threat to U.S.A and INDIA are the result of political hypocracy, Blind policies and immature vision driven by self interest. However, the ultimate victim is not the policy maker's but citizen. However, It is clear that the next target is the political lineup. The recent assassination of benajir bhutto is just a start. Many polictical leader's had been targeted by terrorists in past. Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, Indian primeminister,in 1989 is still a blemish. Recent turn of events dislplays the brave face of terror. They are regrouping, they are organizing, they are planning and they are exploiting print , web and digital media for solving their main purpose. Terror is spreading it's wings. No one is sure, when they will be the one. They ruled afganistan and they are moving well in pakistan. Sooner or later, the effect will be more prominent on india. The domain of victim has increased from armed personal's to civillians. We can see some politician being targetted as well. One can't imagine the outcome, if they get their hand on nuclear warhead. Next government will have to improve , be determined and should dispense the ideas.

However, what led to birth of Taliban and then so many other fang's of same malay is a bit debatable but still clear. Fanatics are not born but they are created, moulded and nurturured. Who creates them are those in power. Hunger of power and temptation of retaining them is main cause of birth of terrorism. The rise and fall of U.S.S.R and temptation to be the world leader gave the birth to terrorism. Postsecond world war,U.S.A and U.S.S.R emerged as two centre of power. But U.S.A wanted a new world order. Empowering saddam and birth of al-qeda leader osama bin laden were used to destruct U.S.S.R. After being enslaved by U.S.A, they stung back at U.S.A. U.S.A is still trying to control them. Winning Iraaq and fighting in Afganistan ultimately led to volatile nuclear pakistan. Now the threat is clear. Al qeda is wrestling control of pakistan and is moving ahead slowly. If somehow they get control of nuclear weaphon's the outcome will be beyond imagination. Now U.S.A is paranoid but still too careless or arrogant to accept the danger publically.

The recent annual support of 1.5 billion to pakistan has always been well utilized for supporting terrorism. Despite accepting it publically, what's going in their mind is full of doubt. At one point, they condemned pak government for failure in curbing terrorism. They found evidence supporting their hand in many terrorist activity. After that, this support is hypocracy as well as a master stroke. One question that is always unanswered who is the real threat to U.S.A. Is it the terrorism or is it INDIA and CHINA in longer run. Is strengthening pakistan and terrorist is anyhow a precaution against uprising INDIA. Answer hangs in future.

However, There is a point in U.S.A caution toward dealing pakistan. Pakistan is volatile now. Any stern action may lead to fall of nuclear weaphon in wrong hands. So making pakistan stronger is one of the best way to safeguard the nuclear warheads. But, the intention of present pak government is full of doubt. Mr. president of pakistan ZARDARI is accounted to be an ally of OSAMA. Even if cent of rumor is true danger os onevitable.

U.S.A will have to bring all country together, bring and army of U.N to fight a war against terrorism. Will have to uproot them. This War is unevitable. Procrastinating it will just add fuel to fire and will brook nothing. Defenestration of terrorism is needed. Reiterating the same fact wont fruit anything. An imperative action is needed now. This is a vertiable fact, what is needed is to forelock terrorism and stop making a percept that everything will be allright.

But this marks beginning of inevitable. Terrorist threat to india is increasing day by day. let's see what happens when all card's are laid on table...

DANCE OF INDIAN DEMOCRACY

When i was a kid, the word democracy was defined to me as one of the people, for the people and by the people and all other blah blah and blah. Since then i grew up and saw three lokshabha election in my full sense, 1999 ,2004 and now 2009. Thanks god, we managed five year for two times. The common factore of 1999 and 2004 was the common war between sonia gandhi and vajpayee ji. However the difference , 1999 was the war with congress and 2004 was against BJP. In 1999 BJP won where as in 2004 BJP lost. Congress got and opporunity and formed the government which was height of nonsense in nearly every aspect. 2009 is between advani and sonia gandhi. Let's wait for the outcome.

I am not here to describe the election, what i m here for is to understand the degeneration and resurgance of INDIAN POLITICS. Aftermath of third front debacle was a time of uncertainity. The next election saw the politician degrading to new level. The main point was who is the dirtiest one. The output was firm establishment of fact ki "RAJNITI KE HAMAM ME SABHI NANGE HAI". Irony was, matters as old as 5 decades were dug. We were unable to understand what's the importance of all this in present context. No answers. Dirts dirts and more dirts. Politics turned from who is best to who is less dirties. Every Party got criminals as ruler as well as pets. Result, the democracy became a mockery. Ultimately sanity of people was still maintained and somehow BJP formed government. We saw a phase of development, kandhar, kargil and the focus shiftedbto where BJP failed.

2004 was an election where BJP was the main opponent. Every one was fearing if BJP remained they will start dominating indian politics and opposstion united. Cause of self satisfaction, ignorance and overconfidence BJP lost. But the focus of this election started shifting from Dirt to a bit of development. Though still dirty linens were being washed in public. But still it was bit cleaner. Many criminals were fielded and one was fearing that is this waht it takes to be a politician. An essential and most demanded qualification is murder and rape. Many won still by buying votes and castism. Democracy was again a loser but still there was a hope of it's revival. This election was also dominated by godhara. Cause of godhara modi retained power. But modi has something what other's were lacking. Hunger for development. Too see gujrat as vibrant.
Modi has been a factor that led to ultimate revival of democracy.

When State assembly election of gujrat was ultimately announced in 2008, congress again started godhara. But modi was too adamant on development he carried. Ultimately he won and people and poltician realized development makes u win seats. The next election of M.P , RAJASTHAN, CHATTISHGADH AND DELHI saw a fight for development and democracy one.

Seeing resurgance of democracy we are delighted. This election has been dominated by failures of congress till now and development. Congress tried to raise Varun Gandhi an issue but still it was unable to become a plank thank's to BJP. Hope democracy is the winner again. AMEN.

"CAN'T COUNT US OUT" : WEAK

Everyone has encounterd shockers's in their life. Hadn't they. What shock's is entirely amazing. UNEXPECTED. When we count someone weak. We relax our muscles and then comes a shocker.
When opponet is strong we flex out muscle, give our best and enjoy win as well as defeat(sometime as most defeat are killing inside). But most embarassing is defeat that comes from an uxpected segment of people popularly known as "UNDERDOG" or "WEAK".

The same has come true for our present INDIAN CRICKET TEAM. After success of first four onedayer's fifth was a relaxed pitch and output was defeat. For the sake of first glass of wine we forgot the spilled stains. We enjoyed and made mortal's hero in our first test win. Sehwag is ruler of cricket and an autocratic one and who is ruthless to the level that he believes that spinner shouln't exist. A sin for a bowler is to be a spinner. He loves to see the ball's rocketing over fence. Sometime he is so carried away in this game of cleaning spinners, he forget that ball's are to be played as per merit. But, there is one other fact. Sehwag needs to be like this. As he is a face, Bowler loves to see out of ground, much more than sehwag loves to see the ball's out of ground.
In this test he got himself out. But, he was not the only one. Even the likes of dravid, tendulkar were too easy to realize that may be oppossition is not a strong one but they are descent one's.

The output was unexpected. A follow on in first inning. Many went over the board and started criticising the same policies that they were praising. Come on yar, it's a game. Atleast opposition should be given some chance to smile. India should lick their own blood before they become immortals. And no one want's to see the monotonocity as aussies were doing. It was hell boring. Everyone anticipating the same output. But still funny was a shocker from bangladesh.

This 2011 world cup is shaping well. Aussies are no more favorite's. India, south africa, west indies, and australia is on chart. In all these mistakes and fun test cricket has emerged winner. After so long we saw a fight of bat and ball. Ya and what i m loving most is resurgence of immortal sachin. let's enjoy the final day of cricket.

And ya, a realisation, u can't count anyone out. Even weak has some power to hurt you. Descipline can beat even mighty empire's.

So jago...

INSECTICIDE FOR TREE OF DEMOCRACY

Well stating a problem is entirely easy compared to the solution. Everyone these days is entangled by the idea of Decriminalization of indian politics. So many has talked about it, describing and redescribing the problem is insignificant now. So what's next. Let's find the solution of this problem endangering our democracy.

Well first and obvious solution is stop voting for them. Clap Clap and Clap for this notion. Say three cheers for this solution and let's move ahead. Why? Coz these criminals don't win election by those who vote. But they win election by buying it. Most of us are uneducated, immature and selfish creature's. Whatever one say, but country is always second or third in priority list. Obvious first one is hunger. Rich has hunger of power and poor has hunger for food. So, some supports criminals for power and some for money. let's rule this out for time being. We will get back to it later.

Other option is to make contestion of election difficult for criminals or people with cases. Recently, we have seen with case of varun gandhi. He turned the misery thrown on him to an staggering opportunity. So did narendra modi. There is no doubt about what modi can do. These are good leader's who has vision and thought. Varun is far better than his cousin rahul and modi is best bet for PM. These leader's are few cases of wrongly charged or in other word whose matter has been blew out of proportion. Stopping the people with some criminal charge is also not an option.

The Election commission has done good by stopping convicted people from contesting the polls. But it has done nothing about the people in fray. What's the solution of all this.

The solution is simple and good. Before one is appearing in "JANATA KI ADALAT" one should appear in "ADALAT FOR JANATA" yani ki our great judiciary system. All the people who are not charged for any crime should get a free pass. But all those wo are charged should prove in our court ki why despite these charges they should be allowed to contest in election With strong counter argument from EC and none other than some of civilians. Here come's the importance of those people who are asking us to not vote for them. They should give a reason in court and should convince the honorable judge why the charged person is incompetent.

This law if properly documented will allow the contestant on merit basis. And will be repreive of those falsly charged and punishment for wrong one's. This will also prove seriousness of those involved in "NO CRIMINAL" campaigns. And ofcource our democracy will get chance to be disinfected.

SUMIT : MEMORIES 1

Whenever, i sit back and think about sumit, i realise our friendhip was raw innocence. In our friendship we never showed our care. We never had to as we knew it and never thought else. Insecurity was not in the scene. We knew, we are one of the best in each other's life and we are irreplacable.

One of the memories that i cherish is his competion with me for height. we were the part of shorter bunch in class. we used to stand as 2nd and 3rd in assembly lines. I was the taller one with a winning margin of 1 cm. He always wanted to proove that he is the taller one. Every moring while standing in line we will argue who is the taller one. We will stand facing each other. He will take is hand and will move it from his forehead toward mine. He will tilt his hand steadily and his hand will slowly move over my head as a reasult of well judged movement and then he will claim "I AM THE TALLER ONE ". I will smile and will ask him to stand side by side and then the obvious will come out. This was our morning routine and will happen daily.

This didn't change even once. When he came to meet me after 5 years of gap once he left the school it was the same. Then when we met in summer's of my 2nd year it was the same. And this saga continued even at nagpur station. Where we met for the last time before he parted.

When i was crossing nagpur for my journey to delhi i asked him to get lunch packed for 5 of my friends. What he got me was 5 packets of goodday. We laughed, we smiled, we enjoyed, he showed me my wanna be bhabhiji photo and challenged me if i can pick him with my arms. I picked him up in my arms and carried him on station. What a sweet memory is that. Miss u brother.

CRIMINALS IN POLITICS: A ROTTEN LIMB

Personally i am nt an active member of JAGO RE or NO CRIMINAL compaigns. But, I m supporter of these. Our election commission, is one of the most competent in world. Handling the dance of democracy on the open street is not an easy job. In a country, where language changes every few kilometers, where caste and religion still rules the general mindset, it's pretty tough and rough. India is an ocean whose contents are undefined.

But, our election commission lacks vision, power and committment and most important will power to control these wobbling pests that is endangering our democracy. Saying criminals pests is an understatement. More i say will fall less. So, let us talk why i feel such about the criminals in politics.

Our father of nation GANDHIJI said " NO ONE IS CRIMINAL AND CRIME KO MARO CRIMINALS KO NAHI " . That's why our political parties decided, let us be the major recuiter's of criminals. We will give them a job of looting people in exchange of seat's that they can bring by capturing booths. And hence started a new era of criminalization of polticians. With time this feeling grew like forest fire. It became manadatory for polticians to be criminal. They lost there moral ground and ethical values for thirst of power. From people's voice they became thorn in flesh.

We all know what criminal's has done and are doing to our country. There is no point in discussing the facts. Let's pledge this election "WE WILL VOTE THIS ELECTION AND ERADICATE THE WEEDS SO THAT INDIA GROWS AS AN HEALTHY NATION".

SUMIT: ANSHU A REMEMBERANCE

The morning is still crystal clear. A day of missing old friends, and no excitement of meeting new ones. I don remember the date but i remember it was the fourth day of my school life at D.A.V public school. The bus was nearly full and only seat vacant was next to me. when the bus reached next spot sumit entered the bus. He alanced at the seat next to me. He approached me and asked, if he can sit or i m saving it for someone. I m saving it for someone. Listening to this he moved backward and soemhow managed to get seat in last row. I lied him as i was not saving seat for anyone. Truth was i didn't liked him at my first glance. I was just 9 year old then. When i reached my classroom, i realized that he is sharing the same classroom with me. Being new at school, I had no friends. As we two were new, we both had to sit together. In assembly lines, we stand together. And hence, our friendship started.

I don know why, but my friends were always named sumit. He was third friend of mine named sumit. earliar two are now buried in my meory dungeon as they were never that close. But, This sumit became my best friend. Infact, my only friend for three years. During schools, we were inseoarable, and after that, it was heavy on my dad pocket. We used to talk for hours on phone. We were nt like usual chuddy buddies, bt we were brother from seperate mother and father. Our friendship had, love, care, sacrifice, compromise everything a freind want.
