SUMIT : MEMORIES 1

Whenever, i sit back and think about sumit, i realise our friendhip was raw innocence. In our friendship we never showed our care. We never had to as we knew it and never thought else. Insecurity was not in the scene. We knew, we are one of the best in each other's life and we are irreplacable.

One of the memories that i cherish is his competion with me for height. we were the part of shorter bunch in class. we used to stand as 2nd and 3rd in assembly lines. I was the taller one with a winning margin of 1 cm. He always wanted to proove that he is the taller one. Every moring while standing in line we will argue who is the taller one. We will stand facing each other. He will take is hand and will move it from his forehead toward mine. He will tilt his hand steadily and his hand will slowly move over my head as a reasult of well judged movement and then he will claim "I AM THE TALLER ONE ". I will smile and will ask him to stand side by side and then the obvious will come out. This was our morning routine and will happen daily.

This didn't change even once. When he came to meet me after 5 years of gap once he left the school it was the same. Then when we met in summer's of my 2nd year it was the same. And this saga continued even at nagpur station. Where we met for the last time before he parted.

When i was crossing nagpur for my journey to delhi i asked him to get lunch packed for 5 of my friends. What he got me was 5 packets of goodday. We laughed, we smiled, we enjoyed, he showed me my wanna be bhabhiji photo and challenged me if i can pick him with my arms. I picked him up in my arms and carried him on station. What a sweet memory is that. Miss u brother.
